Overview

A 3-4 hour Hue food tour: walk or take a cyclo through local eateries, tasting bun bo, banh beo, banh loc, nem lui, com hen, Hue che, and salted coffee.

Hue — a small but refined culinary capital

Hue's cuisine is not as loud as Saigon's, nor as flashy as Hanoi's. It is delicate, refined, rich, and carries the mark of the imperial court. Each dish has its own way of eating, dipping, and story. To understand Hue, you must eat each dish one by one.

Mobile menu

The tour combines 6-8 small dishes: rich bun bo Hue, soft banh beo, banana-leaf-wrapped banh nam, translucent banh loc, fragrant nem lui, crispy banh khoai, sweet and sour com hen, and sweet Hue che. It ends with a signature cup of salted coffee.

Walking or cyclo?

Walking tour: walk through small alleys, stop at street-side eateries, intimate and flexible.

Cyclo tour: ride a cyclo slowly through the old town, eating while admiring the Perfume River, Trang Tien Bridge, and the Imperial City at night.

When to go?

Afternoon/evening is ideal — after visiting the Imperial City and royal tombs during the day. You'll be full and see Hue slowly light up.
