Overview
This four-day private route starts with the landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City, goes to the Củ Chi tunnels, then stays two nights in Mỹ Tho on the Mekong. A private air-conditioned car and an English-speaking guide stay with you throughout, with meals listed day by day. The Mekong day is on the water between Mỹ Tho and Bến Tre, with stops at a fruit garden, a coconut candy village and a honey farm.

The Củ Chi tunnels
On day two you drive to Củ Chi, watch a documentary film and go through part of the tunnel system with your guide. Lunch is at a local restaurant before you continue to Mỹ Tho.
Central Ho Chi Minh City
On the afternoon you arrive you visit Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, Bến Thành Market and Nguyễn Huệ walking street, then eat Saigon food in the evening.
Mỹ Tho and Bến Tre by boat
A boat takes you through the canals to a fruit garden, a coconut candy village and a honey farm, where you try fruit and honey tea. After lunch you cycle in the Bến Tre countryside or visit a pottery village.
Airport transfers, meals and what the price covers
Airport pickup or drop-off applies when it is written into the program: day one includes pickup at Tân Sơn Nhất airport or at a central hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and day four ends with a drop-off at a central hotel or the airport. Meals are served as listed for each day, and the price from 333 USD per person covers the accommodation, transport, guide, listed meals and entrance tickets set out in the inclusions.
Not covered: flights and visa, drinks and personal expenses, tips, travel insurance, and the single room surcharge or holiday and Tet surcharges. The AK-47 firing session at Củ Chi and the Mekong cooking class are optional additions rather than part of the standard program.
