Kon Tum, on the other hand, is a cultural highlight: the over-100-year-old Wooden Church with unique wooden architecture, the Kon Klor communal house, the Kon Klor suspension bridge over the Dak Bla River, and the Ba Na cultural villages around the city. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Pick up at the airport or hotel in Pleiku.
Have lunch with local dishes.
Visit Bien Ho and the pine forest.
Visit the pagoda, take photos of the architecture.
Stop for highland coffee, introduction to Gia Lai coffee culture.
Dinner in Pleiku. Option to add grilled chicken, sticky rice cooked in bamboo tubes, forest vegetables, or local dishes.
Overnight in Pleiku.
Travel approximately 47–48 km from Pleiku to Kon Tum.
Visit the church, learn about wooden architecture, missionary influence, and the fusion of Western architecture with Central Highlands materials and space.
If open and schedule permits, visit the Bishop’s House area or a religious architectural site near the Wooden Church.
Local lunch.
Visit the Dak Bla River area, suspension bridge, and communal house. This is a suitable spot to explain the role of the communal house in Ba Na community life.
If a local host is available, visit a cultural village near Kon Tum. The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism mentions Kon Kơ Tu as a cultural village that can be combined on the Kon Tum – Kon Klor Bridge – Dak Bla River route.
End of tour in Kon Tum or car takes guests back to Pleiku.
