Overview

Pleiku – Kon Tum Highlands Culture Tour is a journey to explore two highlights of the Northern Central Highlands: the mountain town of Pleiku in Gia Lai and the cultural region of Kon Tum. The tour combines highland nature, lakes, coffee, religious architecture, Rong houses, suspension bridges, indigenous villages, and the stories of the Jrai and Ba Na communities.

Pleiku is home to Bien Ho T'Nung – a famous natural freshwater lake near the city center, surrounded by pine forests and green mountain scenery. Bien Ho is often called the “eyes of Pleiku”, making it a perfect start to the tour with a gentle natural spot, easy for photos and to feel the highland atmosphere.

Kon Tum is the cultural highlight: the more-than-100-year-old Wooden Church with its unique wooden architecture, the Kon Klor Rong House, the Kon Klor Suspension Bridge over the Đak Bla River, and the Ba Na cultural villages around the town. The Vietnam National Tourism Administration highlights Kon Tum as a destination with many attractions such as Mang Den, the Wooden Church, and the large Rong House, suitable for guests interested in Central Highlands culture.

This tour should be positioned as a highlands culture experience, not a typical city tour. For international guests, emphasize elements such as indigenous culture, architecture, community, coffee, Rong houses, gong, the Đak Bla River, and the difference between the Central Highlands and Vietnam's coastal destinations.
