Phong Nha Cave is suitable for travelers who want an underground river cave experience: you take a boat from the Son River wharf into the cave entrance, continue moving inside the cave, and do a light walk in the permitted area. Meanwhile, Paradise Cave impresses with its vast dry cave space, a system of stalactites and stalagmites, wooden walkways, and beautifully arranged lighting.
This tour is ideal to sell from Phong Nha town or Dong Hoi. From Hue, it is still possible to do as a day trip, but the itinerary is long and requires an early departure, and guests must accept a lot of driving time. From Da Nang / Hoi An, a day tour is not recommended due to the distance; a 2D1N or 3D2N Quang Binh package should be advised instead.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Car and guide pick up guests early at the central Hue hotel. Depart for Quang Binh. This is a long itinerary, so guests need to have an early breakfast or prepare a breakfast box.
Short rest stop along the way. If guests want to add DMZ points like Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River, or La Vang, please inform in advance as it will lengthen the itinerary.
Guests visit Paradise Cave first to avoid missing the Phong Nha boat time in the afternoon.
Enjoy a local set menu lunch.
Board a boat on the Son River, enter Phong Nha Cave, admire the underground river, and do a light walk inside the cave.
Start the return journey to Hue.
Drop off at hotel in Hue. The return time may be later due to rain, traffic, many stops, or late departure.
