You will leave Hanoi early in the morning in a private car, arriving in Ninh Binh when the sunlight is still soft. Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Tam Coc Village – Bich Dong/Thai Vi – Hanoi
Your private car and guide will pick you up at your hotel or a meeting point in the central area. Depart for Ninh Binh, travel time about 2 – 2.5 hours depending on traffic.
After arriving at Tam Coc or the Ninh Binh countryside area, the guide will introduce an overview of the limestone landscape, agricultural life, and local culture.
You receive your bicycle and begin a slow journey through small village paths, rice fields, orchards, lotus ponds, and residential areas. Depending on the season, you will see lush green rice fields, golden harvests, farmers working in the fields, buffalo and cows leisurely grazing, or the gentle scent of lotus.
Stop at a gentle cultural site such as Bich Dong Pagoda, Thai Vi Temple, or another ancient pagoda/village that few tourists know. The guide will share about the beliefs, architecture, and spiritual life of the local people.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or local host, with various countryside specialties: rice, seasonal vegetables, soup, spring rolls, tofu, chicken or Ninh Binh goat — can be adjusted to your taste and dietary requirements.
