Day 1

Hanoi – Mai Chau – Explore Ban Lac and Poom Cot

Morning
Car and guide pick you up at the meeting point in Hanoi, depart for Mai Chau. Along the way, you will admire the spectacular scenery of the Northwest mountains with winding mountain passes. Arriving in Mai Chau, you have lunch at a local restaurant with highland specialties.
Afternoon
Receive bicycles and start exploring the valley. Cycle through vast green rice fields, visit Ban Lac – one of the oldest Thai villages in Mai Chau. Continue to Poom Cot village, which retains its pristine beauty and traditional stilt house architecture. You will have a chance to chat with locals and learn about their brocade weaving and daily life.
Evening
Return to the stilt house homestay, enjoy dinner with the host family. Savor distinctive dishes like grilled chicken, bamboo rice, sticky rice, and especially rice wine – a traditional drink of the Thai people. In the evening, you can take a walk around the village, immersing in the peaceful ambiance of the Northwest mountains.

Day 2

Sunrise in Mai Chau – Farewell to the valley – Return to Hanoi

Morning
Wake up early to welcome the sunrise over Mai Chau Valley. The scene of early mist shrouding the stilt houses, the sound of roosters echoing in the quiet space, will be an unforgettable experience. Take a walk around the village, breathe in the fresh air, and watch life begin a new day. Have breakfast at the homestay with sticky rice and herbal tea.

Noon: You are free to visit Mai Chau market (if on the weekend) or stop by brocade weaving villages to buy souvenirs. Have lunch at a local restaurant before boarding the vehicle back to Hanoi.

Afternoon
The vehicle takes you back to Hanoi. On the way, you can stop to rest and take photos at scenic viewpoints. End of the trip, the vehicle drops you off at the original meeting point. We look forward to seeing you on future trips!

Booking is confirmed after a 30-50% deposit payment (varies by tour). Remaining balance is due 7-14 days before departure. For last-minute bookings (under 7 days), 100% payment is required upon confirmation.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation policy: 14+ days before departure — 100% refund of deposit. 7-13 days — 50% refund. 3-6 days — 30% refund. Within 72 hours — no refund. Third-party services (flights, trains, hotels) follow the provider's own cancellation policy.
Itinerary Changes
Vibe Vietnam Tour reserves the right to adjust the itinerary when necessary due to weather, safety, or force majeure. Any changes will be communicated in advance, always prioritizing the best experience for our guests. Some attractions may close on holidays or for maintenance — we will substitute with equivalent alternatives.
Weather & Force Majeure
Outdoor tours may be affected by weather. In case of extreme weather (typhoons, floods, prolonged heavy rain), safety is our priority. We may reschedule, reroute, or cancel the tour with a flexible refund policy.
