Overview
This private three-day itinerary in Hue begins and ends at Phú Bài Airport, with two nights at a hotel in the city. The first day belongs to the Đại Nội citadel; the second links Thiên Mụ Pagoda, a dragon boat on the Perfume River and the tombs of Minh Mạng and Khải Định. A private air-conditioned car and an English-speaking guide stay with you for the whole programme.

The Imperial Citadel
On the afternoon you arrive, you walk through Đại Nội, the citadel of the Nguyễn dynasty: Ngọ Môn gate, the flag tower, Thái Hòa Palace and the Forbidden Purple City.
Thiên Mụ Pagoda and the Perfume River
The next morning you visit Thiên Mụ Pagoda on the river bank and take a dragon boat along the Perfume River. A Ca Huế folk music performance on the river is available as an extra.
Minh Mạng and Khải Định tombs
After a lunch of Hue dishes you visit the tombs of Emperors Minh Mạng and Khải Định, then stop at the incense village, Đông Ba Market and Trường Tiền Bridge.

Flights to and from Hue, visa, drinks, personal expenses, tips, single-room and holiday or Tet surcharges, and travel insurance are paid separately. Pick-up on the first day is at Phú Bài Airport or Hue railway station, and the tour ends with a transfer to Phú Bài Airport.
