Night 1: Hanoi – Overnight train to Lao Cai

20:30 – 21:00 – Pick up from hotel in central Hanoi Car or support staff pick you up from your hotel and take you to Hanoi Station. If you go to the station on your own, Wingolf will send check-in instructions, e-tickets, and cabin information before departure.

21:00 – 21:30 – Boarding procedures Arrive at Hanoi Station, complete boarding procedures, and receive your sleeper cabin. Depending on the ticket class, the cabin may be a 4-berth sleeper, deluxe tourist train, or VIP/private cabin.

22:00 – Train departs for Lao Cai Sleep overnight on the train. Cabins typically have berths, blankets, pillows, air conditioning, and basic amenities depending on the train operator.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Village Trekking – Sapa Hotel

05:30 – 06:00 – Arrive at Lao Cai Station Arrive at Lao Cai Station early in the morning. Car/shuttle picks you up at the station and takes you to Sapa. Travel time is about 1 – 1.5 hours depending on traffic and weather.

07:00 – 07:30 – Arrive in Sapa, breakfast and rest Arrive in Sapa, leave luggage at the hotel or tour office. Have a light breakfast and rest after the overnight train journey.

09:00 – Start village trekking Local guide picks you up and begins an easy-to-moderate trek through Muong Hoa Valley, Lao Chai, Ta Van, or a similar route. Along the way, enjoy views of rice terraces, mountains, small streams, and ethnic minority villages.

12:30 – Local lunch Have lunch at a local home, homestay, or restaurant in the village.

Booking is confirmed after a 30-50% deposit payment (varies by tour). Remaining balance is due 7-14 days before departure. For last-minute bookings (under 7 days), 100% payment is required upon confirmation.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation policy: 14+ days before departure — 100% refund of deposit. 7-13 days — 50% refund. 3-6 days — 30% refund. Within 72 hours — no refund. Third-party services (flights, trains, hotels) follow the provider's own cancellation policy.

Vibe Vietnam Tours reserves the right to adjust the itinerary when necessary due to weather, safety, or force majeure. Any changes will be communicated in advance, always prioritizing the best experience for our guests. Some attractions may close on holidays or for maintenance — we will substitute with equivalent alternatives.
Weather & Force Majeure
Outdoor tours may be affected by weather. In case of extreme weather (typhoons, floods, prolonged heavy rain), safety is our priority. We may reschedule, reroute, or cancel the tour with a flexible refund policy.
