Experience

The train departs from Hanoi Station around 22:00, arriving in Lao Cai at 5:30-6:00 the next morning. A private car picks you up at the station and takes you straight to Sapa (about 1 hour). After breakfast and rest, you start a gentle trek through the Muong Hoa Valley, visiting the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van of the H'Mong and Dzay people. On the second day, you can choose to conquer Fansipan by cable car, explore Sapa town, or trek further to Cat Cat village.

Day 1

Night 1: Hanoi – Night Train to Lao Cai

Pickup from your hotel in central Hanoi and transfer to Hanoi Station. If you go to the station yourself, we will send you e-tickets and check-in instructions before departure.

Board the train and get your sleeper cabin. Standard cabin has 4 beds, or upgrade to a VIP 2-bed cabin for couples.

Train departs. Overnight on the train — cabin has air conditioning, blankets, pillows, and reading lights.

Day 1

Lao Cai – Sapa – Trekking Lao Chai/Ta Van

Train arrives at Lao Cai station. A car/shuttle picks you up and takes you to Sapa (~1 hour).

Arrive in Sapa, drop off luggage, have a light breakfast and rest.

Start trekking with a local guide: walk through the Muong Hoa valley, visit Lao Chai village (H'Mong). Along the way, admire terraced rice fields, small streams, and village life.

Continue trekking to Ta Van (Dzay people). Learn about culture, weaving, and traditional houses.

Booking Policy
Booking is confirmed after a 30-50% deposit payment (varies by tour). Remaining balance is due 7-14 days before departure. For last-minute bookings (under 7 days), 100% payment is required upon confirmation.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation policy: 14+ days before departure — 100% refund of deposit. 7-13 days — 50% refund. 3-6 days — 30% refund. Within 72 hours — no refund. Third-party services (flights, trains, hotels) follow the provider's own cancellation policy.
Itinerary Changes
Vibe Vietnam Tour reserves the right to adjust the itinerary when necessary due to weather, safety, or force majeure. Any changes will be communicated in advance, always prioritizing the best experience for our guests. Some attractions may close on holidays or for maintenance — we will substitute with equivalent alternatives.
Weather & Force Majeure
Outdoor tours may be affected by weather. In case of extreme weather (typhoons, floods, prolonged heavy rain), safety is our priority. We may reschedule, reroute, or cancel the tour with a flexible refund policy.
Health & Safety
Guests must inform us in advance of any special health conditions, food allergies, dietary requirements, or physical limitations. For tours involving physical activities (trekking, cycling, water sports), guests are responsible for assessing their own fitness to participate.
