Detailed itinerary
Day 1 – Ha Giang City – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van: Pick up in Ha Giang City, depart to Quan Ba, admire the Heaven's Gate and Quan Ba Twin Mountain, have a refined lunch at Quan Ba/Yen Minh, pass through Yen Minh pine forest, stop at Tham Ma Pass, arrive in Dong Van for a refined check-in, dinner, and a stroll through the old town.
Day 2 – Dong Van – Hmong King's Palace – Lung Cu – Ma Pi Leng – Meo Vac: Visit the Hmong King's Palace, conquer Lung Cu Flagpole, drive through the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, admire Tu San Canyon – Nho Que River from the viewpoint, then return to Meo Vac for the night.
Day 3 – Meo Vac – Nho Que River – Mau Due – Du Gia: Experience a boat ride on the Nho Que River, leave Meo Vac to Mau Due/Lung Ho/Du Gia through peaceful roads, have a local lunch, check in at Du Gia, take a walk around the village/stream, and enjoy a cozy dinner.

Day 1
Ha Giang City – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van
Your guide and private car will pick you up at your hotel or meeting point. After a brief greeting, the group will review the itinerary, weather conditions, and safety notes for the mountain roads.
The car slowly leaves the city, taking you into the first curves among green valleys and highland villages. Today's pace is relaxed, with stops for photos whenever you like.
Stop at Quan Ba Heaven's Gate, which opens to a panoramic view of the Quan Ba valley. Here, you'll admire the Quan Ba Twin Mountain, hear the story of the stone plateau's terrain, and take your first photos of the journey.
Lunch is pre-selected at a local restaurant, adjustable to your taste: light, low-oil, or with the distinct mountain flavors.
The car takes you through pine forests, stone valleys, and villages of ethnic minorities. Each curve reveals a different perspective on the way to Dong Van.
Stop at Tham Ma Pass or a scenic viewpoint to capture the majestic stone plateau. Your guide will share stories about the Hmong people, their traditional houses, and local culture.

Day 2
Dong Van – Hmong King's Palace – Lung Cu – Ma Pi Leng – Meo Vac
Start the day with a light breakfast, preparing for the journey to the most iconic points of the stone plateau.
The car takes you to the Hmong King's Palace, an ancient architectural site linked to the Vuong family and the history of the Dong Van plateau.
Continue to Lung Cu – the northernmost point of Vietnam. You can climb to the flagpole area to see the mountains, villages, and beautiful border scenery.
Lunch is served on the Dong Van – Lung Cu route, amidst the mountain landscape.
The car enters the most famous mountain pass in Ha Giang. The scenery on both sides is so majestic that every stop feels like a living painting.
Stop at the viewpoints to admire Tu San Canyon and the green Nho Que River below. With this special itinerary, you have plenty of time to take photos, have a drink, and enjoy the space without rushing.
The car takes you down to Meo Vac, where you check in at a private room or upgraded homestay depending on your package.

Day 3
Meo Vac – Nho Que River – Mau Due – Du Gia
Start the day with a warm breakfast amidst the mountain scenery.
If weather and schedule allow, you will head to the boat dock to experience the Nho Que River between two towering cliffs. The view from the water gives you a completely different feeling than the high viewpoints.
The car takes you through quieter roads, through villages, valleys, terraced fields, and streams. This is a day to feel the highland life slowly, rather than just stopping at famous photo spots.
Enjoy lunch at a pre-selected restaurant or family home, full of mountain flavors.
On the way, you can stop at photo spots, visit villages, or scenic viewpoints depending on weather and energy.
Check in at a wooden house, a beautiful homestay, or the best available private room in the area.
If the weather is nice, take a gentle walk around the village, listen to the stream, or relax at your stay.
Dinner is served at the homestay/guesthouse. If booked in advance, a private dinner for couples or families can be arranged.

Day 4
Du Gia – Village – Ha Giang City
The last day starts gently; you have breakfast and pack your luggage before returning to the city.
The car takes you through village roads, fields, streams, and the traditional houses of the local people. Today's pace is slow so you can capture the last moments of the highlands.
The group heads back to Ha Giang City. On the way, you can stop for rest, water, and photos of the remaining beautiful spots.
