The journey will take you from Ha Giang city to Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Lung Cu – where the sacred flagpole marks the northernmost point of the country. Next is the ancient town of Dong Van with its hundred-year-old earthen houses, then conquer the Ma Pi Leng Pass – the legendary pass with views down to the emerald green Nho Que River. You will kayak on the river, swim in Du Gia waterfall, and interact with the Mong, Dao, and Lo Lo ethnic groups in remote villages.
