The route runs from Ha Giang city through Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, Ma Pi Leng, Meo Vac, the Nho Que river and Du Gia, with homestay nights in Dong Van and Du Gia.
Ride the Loop Behind a Local Driver
On this tour a licensed local "Easy Rider" drives the motorbike and you ride pillion. You don't have to handle the mountain passes yourself, so you can look at the scenery and take photos.
The route goes from Ha Giang city through Quan Ba Heaven Gate, Yen Minh and Dong Van to Ma Pi Leng Pass. You take a boat on the Nho Que River through Tu San Canyon, sleep in family-run homestays, and swim at the waterfall in Du Gia valley.
You don't drive. Your Easy Rider handles the passes, and a bilingual English–Vietnamese guide travels with the group.

Day 1
Ha Giang – Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Tham Ma Pass – Dong Van

- Ride the switchbacks of Tham Ma Pass
- Visit the Hmong King's Palace in Sa Phin
- Evening walk and dinner in Dong Van Old Quarter
Day 2
Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River Boat – Du Gia Valley
- Breakfast in Dong Van Old Quarter
- Photo stops along Ma Pi Leng Pass and the Skywalk
- Boat trip through Tu San Canyon on the Nho Que River (about 100,000 VND per person, paid on site)
- Ride across Mau Due to Du Gia valley
- Family-style dinner at the homestay, with corn wine
Day 3
Du Gia Waterfall Swim – Duong Thuong Pass – Ha Giang City
- Morning swim at Du Gia waterfall
- Ride through Hmong villages on Duong Thuong Pass
- Back in Ha Giang city in the afternoon, time to shower and say goodbye
