You'll sit in a glass cabin, glide through clouds, admire panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son range, Muong Hoa Valley, and terraced rice fields from above. After conquering Fansipan Peak, you'll return to Sapa's mountain town to explore Sun Plaza, the stone church, the square, and enjoy a coffee with mountain views.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Sapa – Fansipan Cable Car – 3,143m Peak – Mountain Town
Our guide will pick you up at your hotel in central Sapa. Check the weather, cable car tickets, and operating schedule before departure.
Stop at Sun Plaza Sapa — an architectural work inspired by an old French train station, with impressive domes, stained glass windows, and chandeliers. If you choose the Deluxe/Premium package, you'll take the Muong Hoa train from the town center to the cable car station — a short but scenic mountain railway ride through the valley and terraced fields.
Start the cable car journey up Fansipan. In the glass cabin, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the majestic Hoang Lien Son range, the green Muong Hoa Valley, terraced rice fields, and a sea of white clouds if the weather is favorable. The Fansipan cable car holds a Guinness record as the three-rope cable car with the greatest elevation difference between stations in the world (1,410m).
At the high station, explore the spiritual complex — an impressive Buddhist complex among the clouds: Great Amitabha Buddha standing 21.5m tall, Bich Van Zen Pagoda, and the Arhat path with 18 stone statues. Our guide will assist you in choosing a route that suits your fitness level.
You can walk to the summit (about 600 stone steps) or take the Fansipan funicular to save energy. The moment you stand on the summit, next to the 3,143m marker, among the clouds — is an unforgettable experience. Take photos, admire the clouds, and enjoy the thin but fresh air at over 3,000m altitude.
Return to the cable car station, descend to the mountain base, and head back to central Sapa.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant — options may include Sapa salmon hotpot, thang co, or basic Vietnamese dishes depending on the tour package.
Take a light visit to central Sapa: Sapa Stone Church (the symbol of the mountain town), the square, the local market, small streets around the center, or a mountain-view café if you'd like to rest.
Drop you off at your hotel or a central point in Sapa. End of the program — a day touching the roof of Indochina.
