Sapa Hotel – Sun Plaza – Muong Hoa Station – Fansipan Cable Car – Spiritual Complex – Fansipan Summit 3,143m – Sapa Mountain Town – Hotel
A gentle tour from Sapa: Fansipan cable car — one of the longest cable cars in the world, panoramic views of Hoang Lien Son, conquer the 'Roof of Indochina' at 3,143m. Combined with visits to Sun Plaza, Sapa Stone Church, and the mountain town. No trekking required.
Fansipan Peak (3,143m) — the highest point of the Indochina peninsula — was once a challenge only for seasoned trekkers with a 2-3 day climb. But since the Fansipan Legend cable car system began operation — one of the longest and highest cable cars in the world — anyone can touch the sky in just 15 minutes.
The Fansipan Cable Car & Sapa Mountain Town tour is the most complete experience for travelers who don't like trekking but still want a check-in photo at the 'Roof of Indochina'. You'll sit in a glass cabin, glide through layers of clouds, and enjoy panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son range, Muong Hoa Valley, and terraced rice fields from above. After conquering Fansipan Peak, you return to Sapa mountain town to stroll through Sun Plaza, the Stone Church, the square, and enjoy a coffee with mountain views.
The journey begins at Sun Plaza Sapa — an impressive French colonial architecture. You can choose to take the Muong Hoa train from the town center to the cable car station, enjoying the valley views along the way. After a 15-minute cable car ride, you arrive at Fansipan Station at an altitude of nearly 3,000m. From here, you explore the spiritual complex with pagodas, Buddha statues, stone steps, and can use the funicular to get closer to the summit to save energy. The moment you stand on Fansipan Peak, amidst the clouds, with the 3,143m marker — is an unforgettable experience.
