This Da Lat adventure moves from safety preparation and rope practice into the canyon environment at Datanla Waterfall. Participants follow the day’s guidance through descents, water sections and natural features before returning to central Da Lat.

The route begins with equipment fitting and a briefing on the conditions for the day. Rope handling, harness use and movement around water are introduced before the canyon sections begin.
Practice on a low wall and a dry descent establishes the skills used later on the route. The progression then shifts into Datanla’s water-and-rock terrain, where participants may rappel, move with the current, use natural slides and float or swim in designated safe areas.
This is an activity-led outing rather than a sightseeing programme. Its pace depends on weather, water conditions and the instructor’s assessment, and every challenge is undertaken only under direction.
The day teaches the skills first and uses them on the canyon route afterwards.
How Datanla canyoning is structured
Training first
Fit your gear, learn rope control and harness use, and practise on a low wall and a dry descent before entering the canyon.
Waterfall rappel
Rappel down a waterfall at Datanla, with an instructor guiding every section.
Water slides, swimming and a final jump
Slide down natural rock chutes and swim or float in a safe area. A cliff jump or final waterfall challenge is done only when the instructor confirms it is safe.
