This 2-day, 1-night cruise links Hanoi, Hon Gai and Bai Tu Long. Time on the water includes kayaking, an overnight stay in a private cabin, and a call at Vung Vieng fishing village.
Two days on Bai Tu Long Bay
Bai Tu Long Bay lies next to Halong Bay and has the same kind of limestone islands, but fewer boats. This trip takes you there by road from Hanoi, then spends a night on board a cruise ship.
On day one you board at the port, have lunch while the ship moves between the islands, then kayak or take a basket boat and visit Vung Vieng fishing village. In the evening there is a cooking demonstration on the sundeck, dinner, and night squid fishing. On day two you start with Tai Chi, visit Thien Canh Son Cave and head back to Hanoi.
You sleep in a private cabin. An English-speaking guide is on board throughout.

Day 1
Hanoi – Bai Tu Long Bay Cruise – Kayaking – Vung Vieng
- Pickup in Hanoi Old Quarter and transfer to the port
- Board the cruise and check in to your private cabin
- Lunch on board as the ship sails between the islands
- Kayak or take a basket boat, or visit Vung Vieng fishing village
- Time to swim and relax if conditions allow
- Cooking demonstration on the sundeck
- Set dinner, then night squid fishing; overnight at anchor
Day 2
Tai Chi – Thien Canh Son Cave – Return to Hanoi
- Tai Chi on the sundeck at sunrise
- Light breakfast on board
- Visit Thien Canh Son Cave
- Look out over Bai Tu Long Bay from the cave entrance
- Return to the ship and check out
- Disembark at the port and transfer back to Hanoi
